Camp Atwater provides a supportive, identity-affirming space where campers can explore their interests, connect with peers and advance their achievement and well-being.
The summer at Camp Atwater is divided into two rotations. Campers focus on five activities each day with one period being a universal swimming period. Additionally, we are intentional about embedded Black culture in pride in all aspects of the program development. From morning inspection where campers work together to clean their cabins to nightly assemblies that focus on black history, music, pride and self-discovery.
